Meath Roundtable event 31st Jan 2011

Are you interested the future direction of Ireland and in what happens in Co. Meath. Are you concerned about the following issues?

  • Creating the space for choices around the direction of Ireland
  • The economy
  • Environmental Sustainability
  • Income, Work and Wealth
  • Political Reform
  • Access to Public Services

Then come to a roundtable discussion on January 31st at 7.30 pm in Meath SIPTU Branch offices, Commons Road Navan.

This meeting will provide feedback from the national event and will focus on what the key issues are in Co. Meath which would feed into and shape the development of Claiming our Future’s national policy agenda.

Agenda

  • Introductions-in pairs and then in larger group with Steering Committee for COF Co. Meath
  • Background to COF
  • Report back from National Event and presentation of the Outcome Document
  • Discussion with person beside you-then open up for Q&A
  • Focus on  the local context-what’s relevant from the outcomes document and what are the specific issues in Co. Meath
  • Identification of key people who can organise local events in their area –(building wider participation there is a guide to local events that we can give people)
