There should be parity of esteem between public and private sector workers. The working conditions of both would be those that permit our economy to compete in the global marketplace. As the public sector is an overhead to the overall economy, it should be kept to a minimum. It is an immutable fact of life that the services provided by the public sector are much more expensive than if provided by a competitive private sector.
