10.00 - 10.30 Welcome and Introduction
10.30 - 10.35 Introduction of the Strategic Question
What will be the economic model in 2030 to serve a society based on equality, environmental sustainability, participation, accountability and solidarity?
10.35 - 11.00 Determine Driving Forces of Change
The session will involve brainstorming of the key drivers impacting on the strategic question in four groups examining social and demographic drivers, technological and environmental drivers, political drivers and economic drivers at global, European and national levels.
11.00 - 11.15 Group Presentations
11.15 - 12.00 Determine Issues and Trends
The session will involve in-depth analysis of the key drivers identified earlier in order to determine issues, trends, implications and other factors shaping the future economic model.
12.00 - 12.15 Coffee Break
12.15 - 12.30 Group Presentations
12.30 - 13.00 Identify Pivotal Uncertainties
The session will involve assessment of the drivers, issues and trends identified earlier in regard to their impact on the future and level of uncertainty attached to them.

14.00 - 14.15 Establish the Scenario Logics
This session will involve clustering the key uncertainties into themes that will form main topics that will be explored in the scenario building phase. It will also identify two main uncertainties that will form the framework for the scenarios.
14.15 - 15.00 Create Alternative Scenarios for Economic Model in 2030
Based on the discussions held through out the day a set of four alternative future scenarios will be developed for the economic model of 2030.
15.00 - 15.20 Group Presentations & Discussion
15.20 - 15.35 Policy Themes & Action Agendas for Economic Model
Using the scenarios developed in the previous session participants will propose a set of policy themes and action agendas that are necessary to bring about a desired future.
15.35 - 15.50 Group Presentations
15.50 - 15.55 Individual Preferred Future Visions for Economic Model for Ireland in 2030
Each participant will articulate how they imagine preferred vision for economic model in Ireland in 2030.
